Frank wants US-Israeli Disagreements in the Open
Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) refused to sign a letter from members of the House of Representatives to President Obama that encouraged the President and the Israelis "to work closely and privately together ... especially on areas of disagreement". Frank told Roll Call that he believed any US-Israeli disagreements should be handled openly, as is the case between the US and European allies. We hope more members of congress see Frank's wisdom in treating Israel the way US treats other nations, and not with special favors.
